Confirmation sur règle techmarine

Hello,
juste une petite confirmation:
Un techmarine peut choisir de réparer un véhicule à la place de tirer avec ses armes "instead of firing his weapons, a techmarine can choose...."
Un servant d'artillerie peut tirer avec le canon s'ils n'utilise pas ses armes "the crewmen firing the gun cannot fire any weapons they are carrying"

A+B=> un servant de canon thunderfire peut réparer un véhicule tout en tirant avec le canon? Il répare à la place de tirer avec ses armes, et remplit la condition A, et il n'utilise pas ses armes, donc remplit la condition B?
Ca marche ou je rate quelque chose?

If you shoot the thunderfire cannon, you have fired a weapon, so no repair roll. Doesn't matter that the artillery section mentions he can fire it instead of firing a weapon he carries. The BOTO rule clearly states any weapon. The thunderfire cannon is a weapon.
