This topic serves as a reminder for communities thinking about hosting the ETC in 2016 to start preparing their official bid in a presentation. Once candidates have stepped forward (no later than November 7th), a vote will be started to make a final decision where the traveling circus will be holding it's next stop. Make it a good and clean bid guys!
DEADLINE to post Bids for ETC 2016 Venue is November 7th at 23:59 CET.
A vote to chose amongst bids will then follow.
Bidders are kindly requested to take the time to fill up the following form (or present all the requested info in any which way they see fit). Answers to these questions will help the captains to decide what bid to choose for. Bids with insufficient details will not be considered as valid and will NOT be taken into account for when the voting starts.
Bidders will post one post per bid they intend to present.

4.1 Tables quantity : number and provenance of tables for the event
4.2 Tables quality : description of the tables used (dimensions, toughness, cover used : napkin, carpet, paint... pictures if possible)
4.3 Terrain quantity : number of pieces procured per game,type and provenance
4.4 Terrain construction for the event : target in terms of quantity per game and terrain type, budget.
5/ Host organisation team and community
5.1 List the names, abilities, past ETC and organisers experience, role in the organisation team.
5.2 Host community : numbers of clubs in the country, bigger events size and dates of last editions, number of clubs supporting the org team.
6/ Referee
6.1 How many referee can the host org provide from the host country ? With what ETC experience ?
6.2 What conditions are planned to transport & host referee ?
6.3 Planned refund budget ?
7/ Food
7.1 What kind of food is planned for the players at lunch on gaming days ? Menu will be more like : hotdog and a bowl of soup (Munster 2009)? Barbecue meat and fries (Gorzow) ? Cooked main course (Modena and Montreux) ?
7.2 How do you plan to respond to the challenge of getting food to hundreds of players at the same time ?
8/ Sponsors
8.1 Have you got any sponsor leads ?
8.2 Would you be open to work with a sponsor that will deal with ETC central organisation (with multi-year engagements) as if they were your own sponsors (ie, doing all you can to honour engagements and make them happy) ?
8.3 What kind of thing would you offer the sponsor ?
8.4 Sponsors hall, how much space can you offer commercial partners to hold a space to display their goods ? How much are you planning on renting it ?
9/ Budget
9.1 Please describe and summarize all major income and expenses.
9.2 What player entry fee range are you aiming for ?

9.4 Are you open to study a solution with chairmen so that entry fee are cashed in by them before being forwarded to you ? ( as is plain from this poll viewtopic.php?f=43&t=106287&p=1285202#p1285202 a majority of captains will favour this modus operandi. However the charter does not cover the finances topics in details so this question is more to declare your intentions than to commit to a definite answer.)
9.5 How will you communicate on the financial result of the event ? Please precise what type of information you intend to disclose and in what kind of timeline for disclosure.

PS: We strongly recommend bidders to NOT rush to publish their answers : the voting captains will have plenty of time to consider their bids before voting, voting time will allow for that. We also strongly recommend them to get in touch with any or all of the chairman for feedback/ advice about their bids. Time over the phone can be spent to facilitate things if need be. Just let us know if that's the case.
